As an Ops Tech Support Analyst, you will play an integral role in bolstering the Business and Enterprise Systems (BES) Directorate. Your contributions will be pivotal to achieving Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR), while ensuring compliance with the Federal Information Systems Control Audit Manual (FISCAM). You will also facilitate the integration of the Business Analysis Tool (BAT) with CAST Imaging, thereby enhancing project management, system engineering, and software development capabilities for BES Programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and evaluate organizational operations to identify challenges and formulate effective solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
  • Conduct detailed interviews with employees and customers, review reports, perform operational analyses, and assess databases to gather pertinent information and determine appropriate analysis methods.
  • Document and present findings and recommendations through comprehensive reports.
  • Develop actionable solutions by defining system or process requirements, analyzing alternatives, and preparing specifications utilizing statistical analysis, simulations, and optimization techniques.
  • Identify workflow and system enhancements and collaborate with management and operations teams to implement these improvements.
  • Partner with analytical teams to address complex issues and support employee teams in executing proposals.
  • Create project estimates, detailing phases, personnel needs, and associated costs.
  • Provide ongoing system support, develop documentation, conduct training sessions, and assess system effectiveness post-implementation.
  • Uphold organizational standards while ensuring system integrity and security.
  • Maintain current professional and technical knowledge through workshops, literature review, and industry benchmarking.

Required Skills

  • Strong ability to develop documentation and provide training on new or revised systems.
  • Proactive engagement in professional development, including workshops and literature review.
  • Familiarity with security protocols and best practices to maintain system integrity and protect sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in documenting configuration processes and generating compliance reports.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background screening.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience directly related to operations tech support analysis.
  • Active Secret Clearance.
