Key Responsibilities

• Manage the financial aspects of multiple projects, including revenue tracking, cost management, cash flow oversight, and comprehensive financial reporting.
• Employ NetSuite to ensure financial records remain accurate and current.
• Generate and present financial statements that reflect the status of each project.
• Conduct thorough account reconciliations to uphold reporting accuracy and ledger integrity.
• Analyze project profitability, revenue, margins, billing rates, and utilization metrics.
• Collaborate with project managers to establish realistic project budgets and forecasts.
• Ensure adherence to internal financial policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Identify potential financial risks and opportunities, providing strategic recommendations.
• Support the creation and implementation of processes that enhance financial reporting efficiency and controls.
  
  

Required Skills

• Proficiency in NetSuite or equivalent accounting software.
• Strong grasp of financial statements, revenue management, costs, cash flow, account reconciliation, and project accounting principles.
• Exceptional analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with non-financial colleagues.
• High level of integrity, dependability, and commitment to achieving results.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make informed decisions based on accurate analysis.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is required (Master's degree or CPA preferred).
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in project accounting or cost accounting, ideally within the engineering sector.
