Job Description for Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Close books monthly and generate financial reports
  
• Reconcile bank statements and handle discrepancies
  
• Process invoices through QuickBooks and manage payment reconciliations
  
• Support the CFO in providing transaction details for SEC filings and auditors
  
• Create internal tickets for account managers regarding payment issues
  
• Post-received payments and manage everyday bookkeeping tasks
  
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual SEC reports
  

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
  
• Senior-level accountant, preferably a CPA
  
• Experience with QuickBooks and other financial software
  
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
  
• Strong communication skills to interact with CFO and auditors
  

Scope:

• Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm Central with an hour unpaid break
• Access to the company’s financial systems and data
