Job description

This is a remote position.

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. If you are someone who thrives on solving complex problems, working with large data sets, and developing scalable microservices, we’d love to hear from you! The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in backend development, hands-on experience with databases, and familiarity with cloud services.

Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable backend services.
Develop and manage APIs and microservices architecture.
Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and other team members to create a seamless end-to-end experience.
Optimize applications for performance and scalability, handling large data sets.
Work on integrating databases, including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
Implement security and data protection measures across services.
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to improve performance and reliability.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.

Requirements

Must have:

2-3 years of professional experience in backend development.
Proficiency in Python. Knowledge of Node.js is a plus.
Strong experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
Familiarity with AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.).
Experience in developing and deploying microservices architectures.
Ability to handle and work with large data sets.
Familiar with version control systems like Git.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Passionate about writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Nice to have:

Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
Knowledge of serverless architectures.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
