This is a remote position.

Schedule: 20 hours, 4 days a week, 5 hours per day  (ongoing role)

As a Part-time Bookkeeper, you’ll play a pivotal role in establishing and refining financial processes for this exciting startup. You’ll manage day-to-day transactions, ensuring smooth operations in accounts payable and receivable using Microsoft Dynamics Business Central. This position offers the unique opportunity to grow with the company, potentially increasing your hours as the business expands. Responsibilities
  • Drive efficient management of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions
  • Craft and maintain accurate purchase orders and sales orders in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central
  • Perform meticulous bank reconciliations, ensuring financial accuracy
  • Lead the collections process, following up on overdue payments with tact and professionalism
  • Contribute to the establishment of robust financial processes, adapting to the company’s rapid growth
  • Generate precise financial reports, providing crucial insights for business decision-making
  • Collaborate closely with sales and purchasing teams, fostering a cohesive financial ecosystem


Requirements

  • Proven bookkeeping experience, ideally in the tech or IT infrastructure sector
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, or demonstrated ability to quickly master new software
  • Sharp eye for detail and unwavering commitment to numerical accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with internal teams and external clients
