Job Title: Accounts Receivable / Cash Handler - Remote | WFH

Job Overview

Join a respected team within the hospitality sector, where your expertise will contribute to the financial operations of our esteemed hotels. We are in search of a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable / Cash Handler to oversee financial transactions and accounts receivable management for three of our distinguished hotels located in the Seattle area. This is an exceptional opportunity to work in a collaborative setting while enjoying the flexibility of a remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the invoicing process to ensure timely payments from customers.
  • Investigate and address any discrepancies related to payments.
  • Process customer payments accurately and maintain up-to-date accounts receivable records.
  • Generate and distribute weekly aging summaries via email.
  • Review guest stays and related charges to prepare documentation for any chargebacks.
  • Balance additional revenue from franchise invoices and execute necessary tax adjustments.
  • Conduct bi-weekly cash counts and update online reports to reflect any discrepancies.
  • Prepare weekly cash deposits for bank collection.
  • Coordinate change orders with the bank as required.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications

  • Self-motivated with prior experience in accounting, finance, or cash handling.
  • Experience in the hospitality sector is a plus.
