Brokerage Operations Analyst (Late Shift)

The Role

This is a unique opportunity to join Plum’s trading services team. You’ll be responsible for areas such as transaction reporting, reconciliations, trade surveillance, monitoring best execution and corporate actions. You will be joining our late shift team (14:00h - 22:00h). This is a fast paced role that will require handling multiple priorities on a day to day basis, but will also give you the opportunity to dig deeper and enhance your expertise in the brokerage domain.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with transaction reporting, monitor and rectify exceptions and suggest technical improvements
• Conduct stock and cash reconciliations, resolve exceptions and perform root cause analysis by working with internal and external teams
• Coordinate with payment providers, ensure timely and accurate cash processing, being the main point of contact and manage relationships with brokers and external partners
• Analyse and investigate automated trade surveillance alerts
• Summarise best execution and market abuse regulation reporting and prepare other management information reports
• Oversee corporate actions to ensure they are being processed as expected and affected customers are notified.
• Work with the Product team in building new systems and work on automation of current workflows.
• Monitor IPOs and ensure new stocks are added into the app and remove assets when delisted from exchanges.

Ideally You

• Have 1+ years of experience in a similar role at a fintech or in top tier firms within investment banking or asset management
• Demonstrates a proactive approach to problem-solving and has the ability to efficiently collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Are comfortable with analysing data and delving into the details of complex problems
• Are proactive and like to take responsibility
• You have a structured and systematic way of working, as well as excellent time management.
• Display strong analytical skills and thrive in dynamic, fast-paced business environments
• Have exceptional attention to detail and strong administrative abilities
• Are fluent in English and knowledge of any other European language is a plus
