About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Junior BI Developer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a fresh graduate or someone with limited experience who is eager to build a career in Business Intelligence development. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of C#, database management, SQL, and data warehousing concepts. We are looking for someone eager to learn, grow, and contribute to the development and maintenance of our in-house BI application.

What you’ll do
  • Assist in the development, maintenance, and enhancement of our in-house BI application to ensure efficient data replication, transformation, and calculation processes.
  • Support the management and optimization of data workflows, ETL processes, and data storage solutions.
  • Learn and assist with implementing both SSAS tabular and multidimensional models for reporting and analysis.
  • Stay up-to-date with BI development technologies and best practices through continuous learning.
  • Participate in the full data lifecycle, including data ingestion, transformation, calculation, testing/reconciliation, storage, and consumption.
  • Help monitor and improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of our data infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into BI solutions.
  • Ensure data integrity and quality standards are met by:
  • Collaborating with teammates including QA/SDETs to deliver high quality software.
  • Supporting and participating in testing efforts and identifying tasks or dependencies during backlog grooming/planning.
What we’re looking for
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with C# and object-oriented programming principles.
  • Basic understanding of SQL, SQL Server, and database management concepts.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a willingness to collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
  • A strong desire to learn, grow, and make a meaningful contribution to our team.
