Job Description

As a Modern Workplace Solutions Engineer, you will be engaged in creating and delivering innovative, Microsoft-based digital workplace solutions and develop relationships with customer stakeholders to help them achieve their business goals. As a key member of our team, you will leverage Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and other Modern Workplace technologies to design, implement, and support secure, efficient, collaborative solutions that enhance productivity and streamline business processes.

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, migrate and support Modern Workplace solutions using Microsoft 365, including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Exchange.
  • Review and implement technical requirements and business functional requirements for establishing new cloud messaging platforms.
  • Collaborate with clients to assess business needs, provide expert guidance, and customize Microsoft solutions to fit organizational goals.
  • Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for Modern Workplace services, diagnose issues, and ensure minimal downtime for users.
  • Ensure that workplace solutions comply with organizational security standards, Microsoft 365 security protocols, and industry regulations.
  • Develop training materials and conduct workshops to drive user adoption of Modern Workplace tools and practices.
  • Stay up to date with the latest developments in Microsoft 365 and related technologies, and drive innovation within the team.
  • Work closely with other teams including security, networking, and IT support to ensure seamless integration and system performance.
  • Provide input into, or lead where appropriate, critical Modern Workplace Platform Modernization pursuits and deals which have the potential to make a significant positive impact on sales, revenues, client portfolio, capability and reputation.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, management information systems or a related field.

Required Experience

  • One plus years of relevant experience in several of the following areas: infrastructure solutions in Microsoft eco-system, cloud technologies, networking, platform migration and enterprise directories.
  • Experience with and/or deep understanding of Microsoft modern workplace stack including Microsoft 365, Exchange expertise, and Azure Active Directory.
  • Experience With PowerShell, PowerShell Workflow and Solving PowerShell issues.
  • Experience with identity management, access control, and data protection strategies.
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks and compliance in Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Proven experience in planning and executing data and system migrations to Microsoft 365, including mailboxes, files, and collaboration tools.
  • Experience working with external clients.
  • Communicating and speaking publicly complex information to technical and non-technical stakeholders, both verbally and in written form.
  • Working with global teams and offshore resources.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and analytical skills.
