It is anticipated that an incumbent in this role will work remotely 100% of the time and will share a hoteling workspace if/when working onsite, as determined by business needs. The incumbent can work remotely from anywhere in the United States, though monthly trips to Texas are expected Work location is subject to change based on business needs.
This is a sales position with responsibility for dealer relations and sales production for a designated dealer network. The Regional Sales Manager reports to the Sr. Vice President of Ag Sales.
About This Role:
1. Assess and develop new market initiatives and business opportunities.
2. Meet and exceed forecasted sales goals for finance volume while maintaining consideration for overall company profitability.
3. Develop, maintain, and manage customer relationships and resulting transactions through regular personal visits.
4. Train dealers in DFS procedures and programs and update the training as procedures and programs change.
5. Exhibits professional behavior, conscientious about punctuality & attendance, demonstrates strong commitment to customer service and promotes positive working relationships.
6. Understands and adheres to all company policies, laws, and regulations applicable to the role.
The Ideal Candidate for This Role:
- A travel commitment, in this role we require 75% of the time on the job traveling. A company vehicle and cell phone will be provided to do business.
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Communications, Agricultural Business, or a related/applicable field preferred.
- An agricultural background that includes knowledge of farm machinery and/or operations is beneficial.
- An understanding of finance and insurance products a plus.
- Applicants must be high energy, take the initiative, and exhibit leadership and organizational qualities.
- Excellent human relations and ability to work collaboratively with others.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
