Job description

Our client is a non-food marketing company that specializes in assisting a diverse range of retail outlets, including supermarkets, drug stores, and hardware stores, in meeting their general merchandise requirements. Their core strength lies in their adeptness at swiftly and effectively sourcing a wide array of high-profit-margin, fast-moving products. Bolstered by recent backing from a private equity group, we are in the midst of a rapid expansion phase.

As a Vendor Relations and Product Line Associate at Non-Foods Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in catering to the burgeoning demands of our company and vendor base. They are in search of an individual who thrives in a dynamic environment, capable of swiftly adapting to new priorities and seizing emerging opportunities. Your responsibilities will encompass onboarding new product vendors, overseeing product line imagery and data, and providing vital support to our sales team through sales presentations and other requisite vendor assets.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the procurement team to efficiently onboard new product vendors.
  • Manage and maintain product line images and data, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  • Provide valuable support to the sales team by creating compelling sales presentations and other necessary vendor assets.
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with vendors, serving as a point of contact for inquiries and concerns.
  • Collaborate with various internal teams to improve and streamline existing processes.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and market dynamics to identify potential growth opportunities.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate records and documentation related to vendor interactions and product information.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of work experience as a Vendor Relations Associate or related roles.
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks and communications.
  • A results-driven mindset, with a determination to meet and exceed set objectives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and Photoshop is advantageous.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with both internal teams and external vendors.
  • Eagerness to embrace novel challenges and assume additional responsibilities in line with the company's growth trajectory.

  • Vacation Leaves and Holidays: While we may have recommendations or guidelines regarding vacation leaves and holidays, the decision is entirely at the discretion of the client. You are expected to align your schedule with the client's business needs and any specific policies or preferences they may have in this regard.

Salary: $900 - $1500
