Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our esteemed Trusts & Estates and Real Estate practice groups. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a New York State admitted attorney with 0-3 years of experience, who is eager to advance their career in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

Trusts & Estates:

  • Represent clients throughout the estate planning process.
  • Draft a variety of estate planning and trust administration documents.
  • Assist clients with trust funding and provide well-informed advice.
  • Navigate Surrogate's Court procedures, including necessary court filings.
  • Oversee trust and probate administration matters, ensuring timely completion.

Real Estate

  • Represent clients in property acquisitions and sales.
  • Review and analyze real estate documentation, offering expert guidance.
  • Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations pertinent to real estate transactions.
  • Draft essential real estate documents throughout the transaction process.
  • Handle title insurance underwriting, curative matters, and claims.

Qualifications

  • Admission to the New York Bar.
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • 0-3 years of experience in Trusts & Estates and/or Real Estate law, including relevant internships or clerkships.
