Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

As a Medical Financial Analyst, you will be instrumental in bolstering our financial processes, collaborating with diverse teams to assess pricing structures, identify trends, and contribute to the development of the Charge Master. Below are your primary responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Oversee multiple financial initiatives under managerial guidance to ensure efficient and timely execution.
  • Financial Reconciliation: Perform comprehensive financial reconciliations during the "Pre-Bundle" and "Post-Bundle" phases, guaranteeing precision and compliance.
  • Pricing Models: Construct accurate pricing models for service bundles, supporting our commitment to maintaining competitive and equitable rates.
  • Charge Master Support: Aid in the development and ongoing management of the Charge Description Master (CDM) and Charge Master.
  • Financial Trend Analysis: Continuously monitor and interpret financial trends, providing insights to keep the organization proactive.
  • Contract Analysis: Rigorously analyze managed care contracts, focusing on healthcare codes and relevant terms.
  • Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional team members to ensure project objectives are achieved and initiatives progress smoothly.
  • Compliance: Uphold stringent adherence to departmental and organizational financial standards and regulations.

Required Skills

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in managed care contracts or a related financial role.
  • Strong familiarity with healthcare contract terminology, particularly CPT codes, and a solid comprehension of managed care principles.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication capabilities to effectively convey insights and work collaboratively.
  • Proven ability to exhibit teamwork, demonstrating a collaborative and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Technical proficiency with EPIC and financial reconciliation processes is highly regarded.

Qualifications
