Job Overview

Join our dedicated and mission-driven healthcare team committed to providing outstanding care for children, adolescents, and young adults who encounter social, developmental, and educational challenges. As a valued member of our clinical team, you will significantly contribute to the delivery of integrated and community-centered care, both remotely and in person.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and medication management for children, adolescents, and young adults under the guidance of the Director of Clinical Services.
  • Formulate and implement effective treatment plans while educating and consulting with new and existing patients.
  • Meet clinical time expectations following onboarding and acclimation.
  • Order, administer, and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab results.
  • Actively participate in weekly clinical team meetings.
  • Collaborate with the administrative team on refills, prior authorizations, records management, and rescheduling.
  • Engage with other healthcare professionals and families as required.
  • Perform ongoing assessments of patient progress and maintain detailed patient records.

Required Skills

  • Experience working with children and families is preferred.
  • Strong ability to uphold confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Outstanding communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Willingness to receive professional feedback and a commitment to a supportive work environment.
  • Initiative, sound judgment, and resourcefulness.

Qualifications

  • Active PMHNP/CRNP/APN license in your state of employment.
  • Master's Degree from an accredited nursing program.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner is essential.
  • At least 1 year of experience working with children, adolescents, or young adults in any nursing capacity is required.
  • Board Certification by ANCC or AANP.
  • PMHNP-BC certification.
  • DEA license to prescribe.
  • State Prescriptive Authority License.
