About the Role:

Join our team as a Registered Nurse specialising in Mental Health, supporting a virtual public health information service across Australia. This remote role allows you to work from anywhere, including your home.

You will provide clinical advice and triage for mental health via inbound and outbound calls, SMS, and follow-up communication. Responsibilities include reviewing referrals and ensuring compliance with professional standards and client-defined practices. Documentation of interactions and adherence to privacy policies are essential.
 

About You:

We seek a qualified and experienced Registered Nurse with a proactive and patient-centric approach. Your background in mental health, strong customer service skills, and ability to work independently are crucial. You must hold current AHPRA registration and have recent CPD activities in mental health.

 

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (qualification recognised by Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Registered Nurse in a mental health setting (including primary care mental health); and/or
  • Minimum 12 months demonstrated duration of practice since of post graduate mental health training
  • Current unconditional AHPRA registration
  • Evidence of the last 12 month's (as a minimum) Continuous Professional Development (CPD), specifically in Mental Health, must be documented on CV
  • National Police Check, Working With Children's Check/Blue Card and client-specific clearances
  • Ability to attend 5 days of paid, online training to set you up for success in the role commencing 21st of October 2024
  • Ability to commit to 0.6-1 FTE spread across multiple days (Permanent) or at least 1 shift per week (Casual) between Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm AEST
