We are looking for:

 

The Customer Service and Export Specialist is an intergral part of the Commercial and Supply Chain organizations that manage and supports a specified customer portfolio in the Composites GBU.

 

 

We count on you for:

 

  • Management of customer’s order book through to accurate invoice payment; excellent understanding of customer’s requirements.
  • Manages and takes accountability for customers KPI’s – is able to report, and take decisions to drive improved customer results.
  • Manages special requests from customers in conjunction with Supply Chain Team and Product Managers.
  • Takes decisions whether to implement requests or not, to escalate when required to do so, to drive customer improvements and satisfaction.
  • Able to discuss any necessary order changes with customers directly prior to input.
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of the business processes and systems.
  • Broad knowledge of the business and customer base.
  • Demonstrates the ability to make sound business decisions that support customers’ requirements while complying with documented guideline and policies.
  • Demonstrates the ability to solve customer problems in a changing environment without completely defined process steps for success.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of ERP systems to extract relevant data to support customers.
  • This position requires a high degree of proficiency in organizational skills to handle detailed information and the timely processing of the information to ensure customersatisfaction.
  • Good independent judgment.
  • Able to communicate well and possess customer focus.
  • Be knowledgeable on product terminology, customer specs and procedures. The willingness to learn and apply basic technical information/terminology and be familiar with material applications is essential.
  • Good understanding of export compliance.
  • Secondary responsibilities to include working key administrative items for the GBU president, not limited but including board of directors activities and support, assisting supply chain and export compliance activities.
  • Home (USA) based CSR will be required to provide some regular support for the Customer Service Site Liaison position during periods of absence/ holidays.

You will bring:

 

  • Bachelors degree minimum (in relevant Business Engineering or Material Science discipline)
  • Minimum 4 years demonstrated work experience including: customer services, account management, problem solving, communication, technical presentations, project management, relationship building, and identification of new opportunities.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally with knowledge of government and industry quality system requirements, customer and internal terms and conditions, contract administration.
  • Team player with excellent negotiation and diplomacy skills both with internal and external customers in order to accomplish tasks.

  • The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $75,760 to $94,700 per year 
  • Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
