We’re building the world’s first seafood trading platform dedicated to connecting seafood processors with wholesalers.
We want to eradicate the fragmented processes and volatility that plague the industry & get seafood flowing more efficiently through the supply chain. As a perishable product, increased speed means longer shelf life and, ultimately, less waste.
Sounds simple, but this is no small feat.

🪸 The Role
We’re looking to turbot-charge our growth by hiring a French-speaking Sales Development Representative. In this role, you'll engage directly with prospects, demonstrate how Rooser can streamline their operations, and convert these prospects into active, satisfied customers.
🚢 What will you be doing day to day?
Initiate contact with prospects through cold calling, email, and WhatsApp outreach.
Use your sales expertise to build relationships, using targeted questions to identify their needs and assess their interest and suitability.
Own the sales and onboarding journey to ensure that prospects convert to active customers.
Train new customers on our platform and help them maximise the value of Rooser.
Drive adoption of the platform and promote autonomy.

Have experience and enjoy outbound sales, particularly phone-based. You thrive on leading conversations to identify customer needs, build rapport, and close deals.
Are driven by results. You crave the autonomy to plan and organise your activities to meet (and exceed) targets.
Want a role that gives you more influence over the customer experience. You embrace the added responsibility of guiding them through onboarding, training them effectively, and ensuring customer satisfaction and platform adoption.
Have a high level of resilience and adaptability. You won’t get knocked off course by setbacks. Instead, you use them as opportunities to learn and grow.

You’re not comfortable with cold calling. You prefer working in a more behind-the-scenes capacity, rather than being on the frontline engaging directly with prospects.
You prefer a highly structured work environment. This dynamic and sometimes unpredictable sales role might not align with your working style. The role demands adaptability and comfort with a certain degree of uncertainty.
Your sole focus is on closing deals, and you aren’t motivated by onboarding and training customers to use the platform.
You prefer fully remote positions. We’re a hybrid company and value in-person collaboration.
