Job description

Title: Sales Development Representative
UK Hours: 8:30 - 17:00
Location: Remote (South Africa)


The Role:

A leading consulting firm specialising in international business expansion, offering comprehensive go-to-market strategies and operational support to businesses worldwide. With a presence in major markets across the globe, we help organisations navigate complex regulatory landscapes, identify growth opportunities, and establish successful operations in new territories.
Reporting to the Commercial Director you will be responsible for appointment setting, lead generation and pipeline building. Day to day you will support the sales team with outreach to a specified list of target customers along with managing email and marketing campaigns. 



Responsibilities:

● Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
● Contact potential prospects through cold calls and emails
● Identify prospect's needs and suggest appropriate products/services
● Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects
● Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
● Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and Sales Executives
● Report to the Commercial Director on sales results

Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:

● Minimum of 3 years in relevant roles, with at least 2 years of B2B sales experience and a proven track record of exceeding lead targets.
● Proficient in various sales prospecting methods, including cold calling, cold emailing, and social outreach.
● Experienced with CRM software and adept at using it to drive sales and manage customer relationships.
● Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills that drive innovative solutions.
