Job description

Vehicle Finance Performance Specialist - Permanent / Full Time

Field Based - Northern Region or Midlands Region

Salary - £34,000 per annum + 10% annual bonus potential + £50 per month Broadband allowance

G4 – Implementation of project activity or provision of specialist advice within a given policy framework as either technical/operational specialist or team leader.

The role in a nutshell: Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with the designated partners, monitoring their performance levels, assisting them when required and escalating any concerns to the relevant staff if appropriate.

A bit about ‘Department’: The Sales teams work closely with Centres to support the sale of finance products for New and Used vehicles in the Toyota and Lexus Network. The team is divided into Northern and Southern regions, both overseeing and managing the performance of customer focused finance programmes sold by TFS, facilitating increased sales of New and Used Toyota and Lexus vehicles.

What you'll be doing:

  • Provide a high standard of service to the network partners to maximise volume and profitability from good quality retail business.
  • Work closely with the Vehicle Finance Performance Managers in line with a personal development plan with a view to progress into the Vehicle Finance Performance Manager role.
  • Compile Quarterly Reviews with designated network partners and attend these reviews remotely when necessary. 
  • Handle network and field team queries, liaising with the relevant department to reach mutually satisfactory outcomes.
  • Monitor Commission disclosure on the Point of Sales system, ensuring our Centre Network remains compliant.
  • Collate, analyse and produce performance information on a mutually agreed basis for each partner.

  • Shadow the Vehicle Finance Performance Manager on key Centre visits and participate when appropriate.
  • Raising of potential Accommodation Deals/Concealment with Centre Network Management
  • Actively engage in the exchange of “best practice” within the team, promoting the Toyota Way competencies and Kaizen activity.
  • Involvement in ad-hoc projects.

What you'll get to own:

  • Presenting TFS ways of working to all new Sales Management in the Centre Network.
  • Compliance monitoring of Used Programmes across the Centre Network to ensure good Customer Outcomes.
  • Maintaining regular contact with Centre Sales Management to ensure up to date contact lists and understanding of marketing programmes.
  • Distributing TFS/LFS communications to the Centre Network/Point of Sale users.
  • Distribution of Retention Activity reports to key stakeholders.

Requirements

Key Experience and Skills:

  • Previous experience working within a corporate environment would be desirable.
  • Proven experience of ability to analyse data trends.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel (v-lookups, macros, Pivot Tables) and PowerBI.
  • Strong presentation skills.

Attributes and Behaviours:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Keen problem solver.
  • Numerate with an aptitude of working with figures/data.
  • Capable of building strong working relationships and liaising with all levels of staff/management and external customers.
