About the Role:

Culmen International is seeking a Program Director to manage the operations of care facility for a future opportunity support a Health and Human Services contract.

 

The Program Director is responsible for the efficient operation of all residential services provided to the Unaccompanied Minor Children in care. They will oversee the facility’s day-to-day managerial and administrative duties, ensuring program, state, and federal compliance. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience running a federally funded Emergency Intake Site, ICF, or residential licensed care facility. The Program Director is subject to work extended hours, weekends, holidays, and be on-call.

 

 

What You’ll Do in Your New Role:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the program.
  • Establish a program schedule that meets the Office of Refugee and Resettlement requirements for the youth in care.
  • Enforce all workplace policies and procedures while establishing a respective and supportive workplace environment.
  • Address all safety concerns in a timely manner and elevate any issues or concerns to ORR.
  • Liaise with Non-Governmental Organizations and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain and adhere to departmental budget.
  • Communicate and collaborate with contract department and executives as directed.
  • Work alongside HR to handle on-site conflicts.
  • Review and approve project plans.
  • Ensure compliance across the program.
  • Ensure the provision of regular and timely reports to ORR regarding operations, services, and finances.
  • Serves as a senior customer interface for all aspects of the program.
  • Oversee the planning of goods, services, and equipment to meet the requirements of the contract efficiently and effectively.
  • Establish a supervision plan that meets ratio in accordance with contractual and federal regulations.
Required Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in social work or equivalent degree in education, psychology, sociology, or other relevant behavioral science degree

OR

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years’ experience in child welfare administration, child protective services
  • AND all candidates must have:
  • 2+ years of experience in program management or as director of a licensed childcare program.
  • Strong organizational and communications skills.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age at the time of hire.
  • Possess a valid Driver’s License.
  • Possess a clear Tuberculosis test.
  • Ability to successfully clear a background check.
  • Ability to successfully clear a drug screening.
  • Provide immunization documentation for Tdap, Varicella, MMR, Hepatitis A and B, Varicella.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
