Reports to: Interim Director High School Programs

Who you are:

As a Program Development Specialist you will be responsible for supporting the High School Exchange USA team with developing and implementing a successful strategy to increase the number of placements made by Local Coordinators. This strategy should include identifying school districts to target and any relevant deadlines in addition to working with the Regional Placement Manager to identify host family leads.

What you’ll do:

  • Support the Regional Placement Manager in developing a school and outreach strategy to increase placements.
  • Work independently and also in collaboration with various team members to outline strategies and help with implementation.
  • Create new, creative outreach strategies.
  • Implement and deliver various outreach strategies based on the needs of the team.


What you’ll bring:


The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor's degree or international equivalent.
  • A passion for intercultural exchange and believe in the CIEE mission!
  • Sales experience (lead generation and conversion) in a fast-paced environment preferred.
  • Grassroots marketing experience a plus!
  • Ability to manage high volume goals within tight deadlines.
  • Accurate reporting on sales activity and forecasting.
  • Self-motivated and goal orientated, with an attitude to overcome any challenge.
  • Experience with volunteer management a plus.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
  • Experience with CRM type databases a plus; Salesforce experience preferred.

Location Requirements:

The position is available to candidates in the United States, except for candidates residing in:
