The Role:

As Head of Global Payroll & Benefits at Omnipresent, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our global compensation and benefits strategy and defining the tech capabilities required to succeed in a competitive market such as EOR. This isn't just about managing internal processes, in essence, you will not just build a current best-in-class Payroll engine, but a future best-in-class Payroll engine for Omnipresent. You will drive the enhancement of our SaaS platform, Omniplatform, to ensure it effectively supports our clients, and their employees, in over 150 countries with their HR, Payroll, and Benefits administration needs. You will drive key cross-functional initiative across HR, Payroll and Benefits.

Responsibilities:
  • Implementing a strategic vision for the combined Compensation & Benefits function, aligning it with overall company business objectives coupled with measurable KPIs
  • Developing success metrics and KPIs that accurately track progress towards strategic outcomes, and identify levers that would yield a high ROI
  • Leading the creation of new policies, processes and procedures that support and compliment a scalable and sustainable business growth model
  • Streamlining and optimising our internal processes to reduce inefficiencies and improve service delivery, leveraging the right tools to embed automation at key parts of your value chain
  • Defining platform requirements, alongside Product & Engineering, to scope, define and roll-out key features that give us a competitive edge in the marketplace
  • Conduct regular reviews of market opportunities for growth that will strengthen our GTM propositions, ensuring that these opportunities are both viable and feasible with our value chain and business model
  • Identifying cost-saving and/or revenue-generating opportunities that will strengthen our GM position in all the jurisdictions that we operate in, working closing with Procurement and RevOps to capitalise on tangible leads
  • Developing a strong pipeline of projects, that lead to realisable value for the organisation, how it operates, and how it serves our customers. Overseeing the end-to-end change management efforts to embed sustainable change - from inception to completion.
  • Embedding a culture of continuous improvement to enhance the competencies within your function, that result in a high-performing autonomous team
  • Ensure regulatory compliance across our service and all countries we operate in, by proactively identifying risks and actioning remediation tactics, working closely with other departments such as: Legal, Product and Services
What We Are Looking for:
  • Strong leadership skills to inspire and guide a team through change, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation and high-performance, whilst driving accountability and ownership
  • Experience in contributing to the development of market-competitive SaaS products, collaborating cross-functionally with other part of the organisation
  • Demonstrated experience in streamlining and optimising HR processes, through lean principles, to reduce inefficiencies and improve service delivery
  • Deep understanding of HR & Finance principles, especially in compensation, benefits, and payroll administration
  • Expertise in managing global payroll and benefits operations, ensuring compliance with diverse regional regulations and the accuracy and timeliness of administration
  • Experience in implementing and managing complex projects, including HRIS integrations / implementations

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • Advanced degree (MBA is high advantageous) or relevant certifications (e.g., CPP, CBP, SHRM, CEBS)
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in payroll and benefits, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Experience in a high-growth, scaling SaaS or technology-driven company is highly desirable
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
  • Background in working with global teams and managing remote employees
