From automating and simplifying core operations including billing to create a lower-cost, higher-engagement experience, to optimising energy usage across smart devices in the home, we turn tough challenges into win-win-win outcomes for customers, suppliers and the energy system.

Where in the world of Kaluza will I be working?

You will be working in the Finance team and reporting to the Head of Corporate Finance. This role will have a broad remit, including supporting long term strategic planning, financial modelling and analysis and assisting with corporate development.

What will I be doing?

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Corporate Finance Senior Manager to join our dynamic team.  Throughout your role, you will collaborate closely with the broader Finance and Legal teams, as well as other business units.

Through partnering with other areas of the business you will help to promote a commercial mindset and your work will directly contribute to the overall success of Kaluza.

You will work closely with key decision makers and encourage team members to consider the wider context of decisions and projects, acting as a strategic advisor to the business from a financial perspective.

Key Responsibilities:

    • corporate reporting (such as board packs).
  • Produce financial and commercial analyses and reports to support leadership strategic decision-making.

Financial model management

  • Manage Kaluza’s long term financial model, working closely with FP&A (who own the budget and shorter term forecast period).
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary data and assumptions, integrating these into the model.
  • Ensure the financial model remains a critical tool for strategic decision-making.

Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A)

  • Proactive identification and assessment of potential acquisition targets as well as analysing strategic fit.
  • Work throughout the deal cycle for buy side and inward investment processes, including leading on due diligence, deal structuring, and supporting in commercial negotiation as well as liaising with external advisors and counterparties.

Client deal support

  • Business casing for material clients (including reviewing the commercial case for large supplier contracts) working through contract structures and inputting to the financial and commercial aspects of such deals.

Is this the job for me?

If you don’t quite match all the skills but you are proactive, a self starter and eager to learn, please go ahead and apply. We are open to applications from people who can develop into this role as well as seasoned professionals.
