Your missions

This is a remote position.

Role Responsibilities

  • Ensure Xero is accurate for preparation for monthly Management Accounts and prepare statutory
  • Accounts for number of legal entities
  • Take full control of sales ledger, purchase ledger, payments, debtors, creditors for number of legal entities
  • Analyse monthly information
  • Supervise the finance team and resolve any queries
  • Monitor day to day finance operations, such as debtors, creditors
  • Review accounting processes and improve where necessary to ensure efficient financial operations
  • Identify problems areas and present recommendations
  • Ensure all accounting activities and internal audits comply with financial regulations
  • Weekly payment runs
  • Support other finance team members in the day-to-day running of the finance department
  • Present data to investors,share holders and other top level stakeholders.
  • Managing the finance inbox and replying to various teams in the company with the support of the finance team


Requirements

Essential Skills, Knowledge & Experience

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CA / CIMA / ACCA equivalent.
  • Must have experience with Xero and quick books.
  • Minimum 4 – 5 years’ experience in similar capacity.
  • Excellent English communication CEFR B2 or above.
  • Financial presentation skills presenting data to investors,share holders and other top level stakeholders.
  • Managerial skills ability to manage accounts payable and accounts receivable team.
  • Must be familiar with UK accounting principles, HMRC processes etc.
  • Proficient MS Excel skills (Vlookups, Pivot Tables, SumIf formulas etc.) and experienced in core MS office packages.

  • General Work Hours: 12.30PM to 9.30PM Sri Lanka Time – 45hrs/week
