About the role
  Responsibilities:

  • Your role in the team will be a step away from the day-to-day operations.

  • Your role is predominately focused on continuously improving our operations.

  • You will do this together with the HR Shared Services Manager and other senior stakeholders in the organization.

  • You will analyze and improve the available metrics, organize reporting, highlight trends, areas of improvement and identify what goes well.

  • Your efforts will result in actionable improvement projects and initiatives that will receive your support.

  • You will locate and define new (process) improvement opportunities to help the team to move to a higher service offering by simplifying and standardizing the process to follow.

Within our Northern Europe HR Shared Services Team (HR-SSC) we support employees in 9 countries / 20 locations including the employees in our head office in Amersfoort, the Netherlands.

The support from the team can be vary from answering HR related questions via ticketing, reviewing and following up on changes created in our systems through employee- and manager self-service as well as ensuring that our systems contain high quality data and are easy to use.

The HR-SSC team collaborates closely with HR Business Partners, internal customers, and various HR colleagues to deliver high-quality HR services.

Reporting directly to the HR Shared Services Manager, you will be based in the Amersfoort office, with occasional travel to other locations (internationally) as needed.

Your role is essential in fostering a positive and efficient HR experience for employees and managers alike.

As a key member of the HR Shared Services team, you will play a pivotal role in managing a broad range of responsibilities, requiring a strong ability to maintain oversight of multiple activities and their potential impacts. You will need to assess the implications of changes, prioritize tasks, and ask critical questions to ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you are solution driven, pro-active, customer focused, enjoy looking at data and can translate this into suggestions and workable actions. You understand the customer’s perspective and have strong communication skills. You enjoy working in a constantly changing environment, are self-starting and eager to learn.

  • A bachelor’s degree preferably in HR or any other relevant field of expertise.

  • At least 5 years of HR experience in a role with similar responsibilities, within an international environment.

  • Experience in leading improvement initiatives.

  • Agile methodology knowledge & experience is an advantage.

  • Fluent in English, another (European) language is a plus, excellent communication skills.

  • You are adept at quickly learning new systems, enjoy working with data whereby experience with Workday will be considered an advantage.
