Position Overview

As the Payments Compliance Analyst, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing the payments strategy across our portfolio of client-centric applications. You will provide oversight on all aspects of payments, from system integration to vendor (PayFac) management, compliance and ensuring seamless and secure transactions for our customers. This role requires a foundational understanding of payment technologies, payment flows, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct ongoing risk assessments of payment operations, identifying and mitigating compliance, fraud, and operational risks.  
  • Compliance: Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including PCI DSS, FINRA, anti-money laundering (AML) policies, and Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures. 
  • Risk Management: Work collaboratively with the InfoSec Team to support other data protection policies and support audit readiness.
  • Training and Awareness: Provide training and education on payment-related regulatory requirements, compliance obligations, and best practices to foster a culture of compliance throughout the organization.

  • Qualifications and Competencies
  • Bachelor's degree in information security, business, or related field; relevant professional certifications (e.g., Payment Card Industry Professional (PCIP) Certified Payments Professional) preferred
  •  In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks, compliance requirements, data protection, and privacy laws relevant to highly regulated industries
  • Proven track record of implementing robust payment-centric compliance programs and risk management processes in regulated industries
  • Experience managing payment operations and optimizing transaction processes
  • Deep knowledge of payment technologies, including payment gateways, card networks, point-of-sale hardware, card present transactions, card not present transactions, alternative payment methods and flows
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with regulators, auditors, and stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex payment data and derive actionable insights
