Job description

Overview:

PCI-GS provides Business Operations and Human Resource Support to Defense Health Agency (DHA) – Health Informatics (HI) Division. This position will provide support to DHA -HI in categories including, but not limited to business operations, establishing, and operating necessary internal procedures, functional governance, human resources support, and administrative support.

Responsibilities:

The position will include supporting the Human Resources section at DHA-HI to:

  • Execute the development of human resources management, strategies, processes, and procedures for Health Informatics.
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data and provide recommendations.
  • Lead coordination with Business Operations internal and external stakeholders to ensure human resources management activities align to DHA HI strategic priorities.
  • Assist with onboarding and out-processing staff, personnel transfers, civilian and military awards, workforce development, training development, position descriptions development and employee relations, manpower and payroll and performance plans and telework agreements and other HR projects.
  • Handle HR correspondence and HR taskers.
  • Develop health-work balance tip sheets and engagements for HI staff.
  • Track length of employment/armed services and awards engagements.
  • Develop civilian and military awards write-ups/memos.
  • Develop a workforce development program and training development plans.
  • Track HI DHA training
  • Develop overviews, briefings, meeting minutes.
  • Conduct planning, coordinating, tracking and dissemination activities for Human resources administrative functions for Health Informatics, internal and external stakeholders.
  • Upload human resources documentation to knowledge management system.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree Required
  • At least five years of experience in Human Resource (HR) Support
  • At least five years of experience with supporting HR activities to include: onboarding and out-processing staff, personnel transfers, civilian and military awards, workforce development, training development, position descriptions development and employee relations, manpower and payroll and performance plans and telework agreements and other HR projects.
  • Knowledge of workforce development program and training development plans.
  • Knowledge and skill to use office automation tools and techniques to design and generate reports, briefing materials, or comparable documents.
  • Knowledge of DHA
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse military community.
  • Must be fluent in verbal and written English.

Other Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship Required.
  • Candidate will need to obtain a DoD Public Trust Clearance.
Pay Range: USD $130,000.00 - USD $135,000.00 /Yr. EEO:
