Job description

BlackStone eIT, a leading computer software company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join our Human Resources team. As an Employee Relations Specialist, you will play a critical role in fostering positive employee relations, resolving workplace conflicts, and promoting a positive work environment. You will act as a trusted advisor to employees and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance and support to employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and practices
  • Address employee relations issues, including grievances, conflicts, and complaints
  • Investigate workplace disputes and conduct thorough fact-finding interviews
  • Collaborate with managers and employees to resolve conflicts and implement effective solutions
  • Develop and implement employee relations programs and initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and regulations
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee relations records and documentation
  • Provide training and guidance to managers on employee relations matters
  • Stay updated with changes in employment laws and regulations to ensure HR practices align with legal requirements
  • Collaborate with other HR team members on collective bargaining agreements and union-related matters, if applicable

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in employee relations or a similar HR role
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations mainly in UAE.
  • Experience in conducting investigations and resolving employee grievances
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with employees and managers
