Job Summary
The Analyst, Merchandise Testing will oversee the administration of the merchandising department's testing and analytics program, SOAR. This involves partnering with merchandising and manufacturers to evaluate and validate products and merchandising concepts in select store environments. The role requires organizing implementations, compiling and sharing weekly results, and collaborating with category and space planning teams to develop recommendations for ongoing or concluding tests.



Additionally, the role includes managing our third-party store reset relationship, conducting detailed analyses on display placements and financial forecasts, and performing ad hoc analytical and financial tasks as required.

The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in observance of Rite Aid's brand and strategy and adhere to our core values and service attributes.
Responsibilities
Administer Merchandising department testing and analytics program (SOAR), partner with merchandising and manufacturers to evaluate and prove out products and merchandising concepts in a limited store environment. Organize the day-to-day implementation, compile and share weekly results, work the categories, and space planning teams on the go forward plan and/or sunsetting of the test.
Third party reset partner relationship management, planning, communications. Drive program utilization and the report out status of open projects for the Manager, Merchandising Presentation to share out with the Merchandising team.
Incremental placement plan (displays) monthly verification & analysis. Create reporting for pre-post IPP financial forecasts to actuals for the Director, Merchandise Execution to inform the Merchandising Leadership team.
Analytical, financial analysis as needed. Leverage a suite of analytics tools such as Microsoft Excel, Tableau, and others to conduct analysis on vendor performance data to identify sales growth, margin improvement and cost reduction opportunities.
Complete Fixture Order Process to create, communicate and compile the cosmetic fixture order in partnership with store operations.
Develop knowledge of Relex, the assignment process and inventory investment process to function as backup.

The typical starting pay range for this position is between $25.00 - $31.35 hourly, although wages can vary based on experience and geography.
