Your missions

Our story:

Every year millions of people are either filing their taxes in fear or giving up on their tax refund altogether. We're working on fixing that. Our intuitive app enables anyone, regardless of education or background, to file their taxes with newfound confidence.

Spread across Germany, Spain and the UK, the team at Taxfix Group with its brands Taxfix, Steuerbot and TaxScouts, is a compassionate group of solution-finders. We speak our minds openly, and with over 400 professionals, including tax experts, developers, and IT security experts, we're rich in ideas and voices. The group has facilitated more than 3.5 billion euros in tax refunds for its customers since its founding in 2016

Your challenge:

As a Marketing Data Analyst, you will be entrusted with managing multi-million-dollar marketing budgets, driving significant user acquisition and growth across multiple countries and brands. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders within our Marketing team to achieve these goals.

With our advanced marketing measurement solutions like attribution, media-mix modeling, and incrementality testing already in place, you’ll have the tools to strategically influence decisions, shape our global reach, and drive success in collaboration with the Marketing team. We seek a results-driven problem solver, a self-starter who thrives on achieving impactful outcomes and continuous improvement.

Your responsibilities:

  • Own Cost Controlling & Manage Steering: You will manage our marketing cost controlling and steering, focusing on optimizing cost collection processes and budget allocation across marketing channels and product lines to maximize ROI and ensure data integrity.

  • Empower Decision Making Among Stakeholders: You drive and build our company-wide marketing reports that will help improve decision making using tools similar to Excel, Looker, etc.

  • Unlock Marketing Opportunities Through Data-Driven Insights: You leverage your performance marketing expertise to uncover growth opportunities and generate actionable insights. By consolidating data from our marketing measurement solutions like attribution models, media-mix modeling, incrementality testing, A/B tests, and brand trackers, you enable informed marketing decisions.

  • Foster Strategic Collaboration: You excel in stakeholder management and communication, combining clear, data-driven analysis with compelling storytelling to create actionable insights that propel our strategic goals forward.

Your profile:

  • At least 2 years experience in Marketing, Analytics or Marketing Controlling, focused on B2C User Acquisition.

  • Experienced in managing marketing costs, steering cross-channel strategies, budget planning, and forecasting, with meticulous attention to detail for accuracy and alignment with accounting standards.

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and SQL

  • Proficient in designing user-friendly reporting and steering frameworks

  • Strong analytical mindset with a deep understanding of marketing channels, data, and tracking.

  • Excellent in stakeholder management, communication, and crafting compelling narratives from data.

  • Highly driven to guide marketing decisions that optimize spending and performance.

  • Pragmatic and positive, with a strong emphasis on taking action and ownership, dedicated to ensuring clarity in defining objectives and successfully achieving them.
