Your missions

Location: Sweden (Stockholm preferred as a place of residence)

About the Role:

Are you a seasoned marketing professional with 7–8 years of experience ready to bring your expertise to a dynamic new role in Sweden? My client is a large, German B2B company that provides tailored solutions through efficient project management, risk mitigation, and strategic partnerships. They support clients in successfully executing complex initiatives, and as part of their expansion into the Nordics, they have recently acquired a Swedish company.

They are now looking for a Swedish Senior Marketing Manager to operationally roll out the marketing strategy developed at their headquarters in Germany, with a specific focus on the Swedish market.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute Marketing Campaigns: Roll out the marketing strategy developed by the holding company for the Swedish market, ensuring alignment with the local cultural context.
  • Manage Agency Partners: Oversee and collaborate with local marketing agencies to execute campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Operational Marketing Focus: Handle all aspects of the local marketing operations, including social media management, campaign implementation, and content localization.
  • Brand and Communication Support: Ensure the consistent communication of the company’s brand message across Sweden through various mediums.
  • Collaboration with International Teams: Work closely with the international and local Swedish teams to integrate efforts.
  • Project Management: Drive the execution of marketing projects on time, within scope, and in line with local market demands.

Your Profile:

  • Nationality: You must be Swedish with a deep understanding of the local market and culture.
  • Experience: You bring 7–8 years of marketing experience in a B2B environment or within a company where you manage comprehensive marketing projects. Experience working in or with agencies is also highly valued.
  • Skills: You are a hands-on marketing all-rounder with strong project management capabilities. You can manage external partners and are comfortable operating in a culturally diverse environment.
  • Languages: Fluent in Swedish and English (both required).
  • Reporting: This role reports directly to the leadership team at the headquarters in Germany, while managing day-to-day marketing operations in Sweden.

Benefits

Why This Role?

  • Growing Organization: Be part of a significant growth and transformation journey as the company expands into the Nordic region, with plans for future acquisitions and integrations.
  • Remote Flexibility: While the role is primarily remote, there will be occasional co-working opportunities and in-person meetings. Expect to travel to the headquarters in Germany approximately three times a year.
  • Support System: You’ll receive support from a local agency and the larger marketing strategy team based in Germany.

Contract and Compensation:

  • The employment contract will be with the holding company in Germany, and salary negotiations will take into account Swedish living costs and tax regulations.
  • Full-time position with flexibility for interim or freelance options.

Next Steps:

Interviews will start in October with an expected start date in November to align with the rollout of key marketing initiatives. This is a long-term role, offering both growth and support.
