Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Remote (South Africa) | Serving UK-Based Operations
Reports To: Managing Director / Head of Sales & Business Development

Are you a dynamic, self-motivated sales professional ready to drive growth and make an impact in a fast-paced international company? This is your opportunity to join a growing UK-based manned security services company as a Business Development Manager and take your career to the next level. This role offers remote working from South Africa, enabling you to lead business development efforts while collaborating closely with the UK-based team.

What You’ll Do:

1. Lead Management & Conversion:

  • Take ownership of a curated sales lead sheet, nurturing relationships with potential clients and converting leads into contracted business.
  • Understand client needs, present tailored solutions, and maintain momentum throughout the sales cycle.
  • Track progress in CRM systems, keeping the sales pipeline up-to-date and active.

2. Build Relationships & Close Deals:

  • Develop strong client relationships across various sectors, showcasing the value of our manned guarding services.
  • Conduct engaging virtual meetings and sales presentations, negotiating and closing contracts that drive business growth.
  • Provide excellent post-sales support, ensuring smooth onboarding and long-term client satisfaction.

3. Market Insight & Business Intelligence:

  • Stay ahead of industry trends in the UK manned security sector, using data from lead sheets to identify opportunities.
  • Share insights with internal teams to improve lead generation strategies and service offerings.

4. Achieve Sales Targets:

  • Smash your monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals while providing accurate forecasts and performance reports to the UK leadership team.

5. Collaborate Across Teams:

  • Work closely with operations, marketing, and customer service to ensure a seamless transition from sales to service delivery.
  • Provide strategic input to enhance marketing efforts and drive lead generation.

6. Compliance & Industry Knowledge:

  • Stay informed on UK regulations and industry standards related to security services.
  • Ensure all contracts are compliant and represent our offerings effectively.

Requirements

Key Requirements:

Experience:

  • Proven business development, sales, or account management experience, ideally in a service-based industry (experience in security services or manned guarding is a plus).
  • Expertise in managing sales pipelines and converting leads into clients.

Skills:

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Target-driven, with a track record of exceeding sales goals.
  • Self-starter capable of working independently and remotely, with effective collaboration across time zones.
  • Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Relevant certifications in sales or business development are a plus.
