We are seeking experienced Legal/Judicial contract candidates with substantial expertise in transcribing depositions and hearings. This role offers a 100% remote opportunity for Independent Contractors.

The content involves depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings, requiring intense attention to detail, familiarity with legal terminology, and excellent grammar. You will process audio recordings, adhering strictly to style guides to generate verbatim transcripts.

As an independent contractor, you will have the flexibility to set your own schedule, with support available from our in-office team whenever needed. Work is available 24/7/365, and applicants with weekend availability are encouraged to apply.

Skills Requirements

• Experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription is required.
• Excellent listening skills.
• Adherence to deadlines and client-specific style guides.
• Outstanding literacy skills, including comprehension, spelling, and grammar.
• Ability to collaborate remotely.
• Typing proficiency in both speed and accuracy.
• Ability to process extreme audio/text content (may be offensive).
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Familiarity with legal terminology.
• Court reporting students will also be considered.
