Job Overview

We are seeking dedicated Medical School Education Faculty Consultants to join our pioneering team of health science educators. This role is ideal for individuals who are eager to make a meaningful impact on medical education and enhance the learning experiences of students. You will leverage your expertise and insights to contribute to advancements in how complex medical concepts are effectively taught.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert perspectives on the educational needs of medical school faculty and students in relation to clinical knowledge and skills development.
  • Collaborate on the development of prototype products and educational experiences, offering constructive feedback both in real-time and asynchronously.
  • Analyze and contribute to the creation of case-based learning materials and clinical reasoning tools, utilizing both your background knowledge and supporting research.
  • Engage in regular meetings and discussions to ensure alignment with project objectives and timelines.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in medical education, specifically teaching in an MD or DO program.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the current landscape of medical education, particularly in simulation and case-based learning.
  • Extensive familiarity with the medical education curriculum and the challenges faced by students in mastering clinical skills.
  • Exceptional communication abilities, emphasizing collaboration and the provision of constructive feedback.
  • Reliability as a partner who responds promptly to requests for input and review.
  • Flexible availability for occasional live calls or virtual meetings, accommodating your schedule.

Qualifications

  • Current or recent teaching experience at a medical school.
