IT Helpdesk Agent Level 2 with French - Remote | Work From Home

Job Overview

Become a vital member of our international team as an IT Helpdesk Agent Level 2, where your expertise in French will be pivotal in delivering exceptional technical support to our clientele. In this role, you will serve as the primary liaison for our French-speaking customers, ensuring their inquiries are addressed efficiently while collaborating closely with our hotels located in France.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for French hotels and local service providers
  • Deliver advanced technical support for colleagues both on-site and remotely
  • Conduct regular visits to hotels and perform service review calls with management
  • Accurately document interactions, incidents, and resolutions within our ticketing system
  • Assume ownership of issues from initial notification through to resolution
  • Manage and maintain user access across all systems
  • Collaborate effectively with System Engineers and external vendors
  • Provide ongoing updates to customers regarding the status of their support requests
  • Travel up to 40% of your working time to support our hotels

Required Skills

  • Proficient in verbal and written French (minimum B2 level) and English communication skills
  • At least 2-3 years of experience with Microsoft Windows Systems in a Service Desk or technical support environment
  • Familiarity with local on-site support
  • IT vocational training or a bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology systems is preferred
  • Solid understanding of standard applications (e.g., MS Office)
  • Competence in at least two of the following systems:
    • Windows Client Operating Systems
    • Windows Administrative Tools
    • Microsoft-Server and Roles
    • Active Directory
    • Azure Identity Management
    • Group Policy Management
    • MS Intune
  • Ability to create Knowledge Base articles to aid in resolving technical issues
  • Experienced in knowledge sharing within a team dynamic
  • Logical thinker with the capability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex challenges
  • Solutions-oriented with a proactive attitude
  • Experience in the hospitality sector is advantageous
