We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Sales to lead our sales department. The Head of Sales will be responsible for leading and managing the sales team, developing and implementing sales strategies, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of market dynamics, a strong track record in sales management, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key customers and partners.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Technical Understanding:

  •  Maintain a strong technical understanding of the company’s products and services.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements to provide informed guidance to the sales team

  1. Customer Engagement and Closures:

  • Conduct quarterly meetings with key customers to understand their needs, gather    feedback, and ensure customer satisfaction.

  •  Drive the closure of sales deals and ensure achievement of sales targets.

  1.  Sales Strategy and Playbook Development:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy and playbook to achieve business objectives.

  • Continuously refine sales processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

  1.  Quota and Target Management:

  •  Set ambitious sales quotas and targets for the team, ensuring alignment with company goals.

  • Monitor performance and provide guidance to meet or exceed sales targets.

  1.  Team Hiring and Management:

  • Recruit, train, and manage Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and Account Executives (AEs).

  •  Foster a positive and competitive team culture to drive high performance.

  1.  Sales Material Building:

  •  Create, update, and manage sales materials, presentations, and collateral.

  •  Ensure all sales materials are aligned with brand guidelines and effectively communicate value propositions

  • Collaborate with Marketing and Internal Sales Ops to do the same

  1.  Account-Based Marketing (ABM) Strategy:

  •  Develop and execute an ABM strategy to target and engage high-value accounts.

  • Collaborate with marketing to align efforts and optimize campaigns for maximum impact.

  1. Market Research:

  •  Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, understand market trends, and stay ahead of competitors. 

  • Analyze data to inform strategic decisions and improve sales tactics.

  1. Planning, Strategy, and Execution of Events:

  •  Plan and execute sales events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand presence and generate leads.

  •  Develop event strategies that align with overall sales goals.

  1. Sales Operations and Pipeline Management:

  • Oversee sales operations, ensuring efficient pipeline management and accurate forecasting.

  •  Implement and utilize CRM tools to track and report on sales activities.

  1.  Design Go-To-Market (GTM) Motion :

  • Design and execute GTM strategies to launch new products or enter new markets.

  • Collaborate with product and marketing teams to ensure successful GTM execution.

  1.  Travel and Customer Engagement:

  •  Travel as needed to meet customers in person, build relationships, and close deals.

  •  Represent the company at industry events and conferences.

  1.  Pre-Sales and Solution Team Management: 

  •  Manage the pre-sales and solutions team to ensure technical expertise and support during the sales process.

  •  Work closely with technical teams to align on customer needs and solutions.

  1.  Partnership Development: 

  •  Identify and develop strategic partnerships to expand market reach and drive sales growth.

  • Manage relationships with partners to ensure mutual success.


Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a must.

- Proven experience in selling Saas, cloud or developer tools.

- Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

- Excellent leadership and team management skills.

- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to travel as needed.

- Technical understanding of audio/ Video Communication and live streaming industry
