Overview

As the Analyst-Field Services Supply Analysis you will provide analytical and functional support to the Field Services organization. You will monitor the supply of and inventory demand for equipment and parts used by field service technicians to install and maintain service for TDS customers. You will prepare regular analysis and performance reporting for internal review and identify changes in inventory-impacting conditions. In this position you will partner with stakeholders to aggregate forecasted demand, evaluate current inventory supply, and monitor lead time requirements to ensure inventory levels are optimized. In this position you will maintain responsibility for inputs into tools used for inventory tracking and re-order points.

This position has the ability to work remotely in any of the 40+ States in which TDS Telecom operates.

The pay range listed for this position represents the low and high end of the base compensation range. The actual offer amount will carefully consider multiple factors, such as relevant skills, qualifications, work experience, location and/or competencies that align with the specified role . Certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses and equity awards.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with internal teams to determine forecasted inventory demand and supply gaps. Analyze metrics and provide recommendations to department leadership on forecasts and gaps. Provide perspective and insights and make operating recommendations at both the company and market levels. Work with Supply Chain to ensure there are appropriate stock levels and timely shipments.
  • Oversee inventory levels, including:
    • Monitor equipment and part levels to facilitate transfers and/or orders.
    • Produce monthly re-deploy and purchase reporting.
    • Prepare new orders for supervisor review.
    • Attend Supply Chain forecast meetings.
    • Work with external partners on order distribution.
    • Manage annual inventory reconciliations.
  • Provide administrative support for Field Services inventory-related tools and databases. Process daily ManagedIP (CPS) orders to include invoice verification and coding.
  • Develop, create, and maintain timely and accurate Field Services monthly reports. Review all data for reasonableness and accuracy and obtain explanations for variances prior to distribution.
  • Other projects as directed by Manager-FS Capital Analysis.
  • Represent Field services in PAC (Project Approval Committee) meetings.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Associates degree (or higher) -OR- 2+ years professional work experience.
  • 2+ years experience in inventory supply, logistics, supply analytics, or inventory reconciliation.

Other Qualifications

  • Data analytics skills preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • TDS products and services knowledge.
  • Demonstrated experience providing excellent customer service.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to work and make decisions in a rapidly changing and evolving environment.
  • Ability to learn/understand multiple system platforms.
