Job description

Your missions

Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our IC design teams from PDK administration, supporting layout design, verification flow support, custom DRC/LVS rule deck implementation, to scripting development. You will also work with IC layout designers in taping out our chips. You will be working closely with IT and across disciplines with digital and analog designers in a dynamic tools environment.

We will trust you with:

Administering CAD EDA environment for analog, digital, photonics, and package design teams,
Supporting design flows from EDA vendors like Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor, Keysight, Ansys, and others,
Writing scripts to support design teams and flows using SKILL and Python,
Overseeing physical verification tools and decks (DRC, LVS, Extraction, EM/IR, ESD, etc.), making custom modifications as needed,
Developing and maintaining infrastructure for custom PDK development (custom pcells, models, DRC, LVS, etc.),
Installing and tracking foundry PDKs, including creating automated regression testing,
Assisting the infrastructure team in ensuring the availability and performance of computing resources.

Your experience includes:

Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of CAD engineering experience,
2 years of experience in scripting languages such as SKILL, Python or Bash,
Proficiency in using industry-standard design software, including Cadence Virtuoso, Cadence/Calibre DRC, LVS tools,
Experience supporting design teams working with analog and digital design flows,
DRC and/or LVS decks.
