The Field Medical Partner will ultimately help the right patients gain access to the right laboratory tests by positioning himself/herself to inform on the safe and appropriate use of laboratory diagnostics. He/she will serve the outbound purpose of engagement in scientific exchange and relationship building with health professionals and other stakeholders concerning laboratory diagnostics testing in an omnichannel format using highly credible, unbiased, medical and scientific information. They will serve the inbound purpose of bringing relevant and actionable insights to the business as a result of the external activities.

This is a remote position with the expectation for up to 50% travel as well as the expectation that the candidate with be accessible and working during business hours. Success in this role requires self-motivation, attention to detail, and a passion for clinical excellence.

Your role:

  • Develop and deliver highly credible, unbiased medical and scientific communications relevant to NAM business strategy in a clear and concise manner
  • Engage laboratory and medical stakeholders/KOLs in scientific exchange at congresses, conferences, and professional settings
  • Support evidence generation activities in alignment with the Global Collaborations team and NAM Marketing.
  • Gather actionable insights from the field and communicate in an organized and timely manner to the business.
  • Work in close collaboration with Global Medical Affairs and R&D.

Your expertise:

  • PhD or MD required, board certification preferred.
  • 5 years of Laboratory Diagnostics Leadership or IVD Experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, critical thinking skills, comfortable with technology
  • Knowledge of diagnostics application to clinical practice is required. Desired expertise in the areas of cardiac disease, infectious disease, reproductive endocrinology and/or metabolic diseases.
  • 2 years’ experience in a Field Medical or similar customer-facing commercial role
  • Prior successful experience in matrix organizations
  • Network/relationships with thought leaders in or related to disease states listed above.

The pay range for this position is $136,000 to $188,000 U.S. dollars annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as where the work will be performed. The annual incentive target is (10%) of base pay. Siemens Healthineers offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay.
