Building off our Cloud momentum, Oracle has formed a new organization - Oracle Health Applications & Infrastructure (OHAI). This team focuses on product development and product strategy for Oracle Health, while building out a complete platform supporting modernized, automated healthcare. This is a net new line of business, constructed with an entrepreneurial spirit that promotes an energetic and creative environment. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Developer to join our team of software engineers.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.
Core Responsibilities:
- Designing, developing, troubleshooting, and debugging software programs for databases, applications, and tools.
- Create high-performing enterprise cloud application RESTful APIs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and domain experts to develop innovative technical solutions that address healthcare industry/revenue cycle challenges effectively.
- Leverage cloud-native technologies to build highly scalable, resilient, and maintainable independent bounded context while incorporating monitoring and observability capabilities.
- Apply agile development methodologies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation and timely delivery of software solutions.
- Offer troubleshooting expertise for existing application maintenance.
- Assist with vulnerability remediation, performance improvements, and defect correction support for legacy applications.
- Perform and enforce technical design document and code review processes to ensure high-quality and maintainable code.
- Foster an environment of knowledge sharing through documentation and continuous learning among team members.

Responsibilities
Requirements:
- The ability to acquire & maintain a federal security clearance vital for this role, which requires you to be a US citizen
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Developer-related occupation.
- Working knowledge in Java, JavaScript, Maven.
- Hands-on experience in developing enterprise cloud application APIs using RESTful Web Services, leveraging JSON and Java.
- Exhibit a strong knowledge and comprehension of Oracle databases.
- Experience in Software Agile Development methodologies.
- Strong technical acumen, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a can-do attitude.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience supporting Revenue Cycle\Patient Accounting workflows.
- Experience with vulnerability remediation using Fortify/SonarQube.
- Development experience working with CCL (Cerner Command Language).
- Experience developing services on a public cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, Oracle).
- Cerner Millennium Build Tools development/support experience.
- Experience developing Soarian Financials APIs and services.

US: Hiring Range: from $62,100 - $158,200 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
