Position:
Salary: £27,500 - £32,000 dependent on experience
Location: Remote - Full time 36.5 hours a week (Mon - Fri)
We have an exciting opportunity for a creative, forward thinking and solutions focused individual to join our funding and compliance team as a
Audit Business Partner to support our shared services function and support colleagues across Paragon Skills & Tempdent.
You'll assist the Lead Audit Business Partner to develop and educate the wider business by providing internal development and training opportunities on compliance and audit strategies, changes to awarding body requirements and other funding and compliance activities to improve provision across the company.
This role is about assisting on all internal and external audit and compliance activities, and lead on the facilitation and management of data integrity and compliance to meet the funding body requirements.
You'll be responsible for key area's including:
- Carrying out internal audit and compliance checks and assist business teams to carry out 10% audits
- Providing training and development of internal audit and compliance for the wider business
- Assisting the Head of Funding and Compliance on external PFA and funding body audits
- Using external PDSAT reports to aid the develop of internal reporting mechanisms to minimise risk
- Facilitating and carry out funding and compliance audits to ensure data integrity and delivery of agreed service level agreements to the business

Requirements:
- Experience of carrying out financial funding audits with knowledge and experience of government funding rules and contractual obligations
- Experience of communicating across a large multi-sector training provider
- Experience of working as part of a funding and compliance or similar team and conducting audits
- Experience of successfully achieving targets and deadlines
- Knowledge of work-based learning and funding
- Ability to uphold data privacy and data protection at all times
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a natural affinity with analysing data
- Ability to identify and rectify errors with excellent attention to detail
