Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant

The Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant (STAC) will be responsible for leading the strategic development and execution of talent acquisition initiatives to attract top-tier talent. This role involves overseeing the entire recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and engaging candidates through various channels to managing the selection and hiring process in collaboration with senior leadership.

Position Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead and drive strategic talent acquisition initiatives across multiple channels, including external job boards, user groups, niche sites, networking sites, etc.
  • Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract both active and passive candidates for high-priority technical roles.
  • Partner with senior HR leaders and hiring managers to design and execute comprehensive talent acquisition strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Conduct in-depth pre-screen assessments and provide strategic insights and recommendations to hiring managers on candidate suitability.
  • Oversee and manage the candidate offer negotiation process, ensuring alignment with company policies and market competitiveness.
  • Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline for future opportunities through proactive recruiting and relationship-building.
  • Ensure a superior candidate experience by maintaining high standards of communication, courtesy, and follow-up throughout the recruitment process.
  • Champion the employer value proposition and effectively communicate it to candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Lead and participate in college recruitment activities and other talent acquisition events.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior recruitment staff and contribute to their professional development.
  • Perform other duties as requested by senior management.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of technical recruitment experience in a corporate environment, with a proven track record of success in senior or leadership roles.
  • Extensive experience in generating candidates from a variety of sourcing channels, including job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other innovative platforms.
  • Demonstrated expertise in recruiting from local and international universities.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong background in managing specialized recruiting programs, client management, vendor & agency management, immigration policy, legal & compliance issues, compensation, and candidate negotiations.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement strategic talent acquisition initiatives that drive organizational success.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment and talent management.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of talent hiring initiatives, leveraging metrics and data to inform decision-making.
  • Promote diversity and inclusion in all recruitment efforts.
  • Develop strategies to attract a diverse pool of candidates and lead the business through these efforts.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certification or formal training in advanced internet search techniques.
  • Previous experience as a high-volume recruiter in a consultative environment.
  • Leadership experience in mentoring and developing junior recruitment staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in a similar industry or sector.
  • Proficient in Workday ATS.
