Senior Manager, Strategic Alliances

Reports to the SVP, Business Development

 

One Inc is looking for a Senior Manager, Strategic Alliances with strong deal, strategy and relationship management experience to accelerate our partner ecosystem. The objective is to work with selected Insurance Industry technology partners and fintech to extend our reach, revenue and digital payments platform delivery within the Insurance industry.

The candidate will have significant experience and passion in incubating, launching and scaling top-tier technology/fintech and cloud partnerships. The successful candidate will work with the partners alliances, technical, marketing & field sales individuals and ensure alignment with their counterparts. The ideal candidate will possess a strong partner sales and marketing background, bring a deep understanding of ISVs and strong leadership skills that enables them to engage with partner sales teams to drive strong field level engagement between the technology/fintech partner and One Inc.

This is a critical role within the One Inc team and will require cross-functional leadership skills to work with One Inc Sales, Support, Services, Product and Operations. This role will be a major change agent, having impact and influence with a high degree of energy, flexibility and drive to create real and measurable business results.

Candidate should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions and work cross-organizationally to build consensus. We are looking for candidates that are creative, aggressive and looking to expand and advance their responsibilities.


Responsibilities

  • Incubate, negotiate and operationalize partnerships with industry-leading technology/fintech leaders build, market, and sell.
  • Coordinate the development of internal and external-facing marketing and sales initiatives with partners supporting GTM efforts
  • Work closely with the One Inc Sales organization to broker account mapping and field-level relationships with technology & fintech partner teams
  • Represent both the voice of the partner to One Inc and the voice of One Inc to the partner as required to resolve issues and attain success with the customer.
  • Develop expertise with partners current areas of Insurance Industry focus as well as potential areas for expansion
  • Define and communicate One Incs value propositions to partners teams (alliances, marketing, sales, product & delivery).
  • Work cross-functionally with both partner and internal organizations on a regular basis

 

Skills & Abilities:
 

  • Strong payments experience specifically in developing partnerships with ISVs that drive revenue.  Strong understanding of the ISV landscape and how to navigate.
  • Expertise in aligning value propositions with partners' needs and expectations and ability to define and articulate One Inc’s value propositions to various partner teams, including alliances, marketing, sales, product, and delivery.
  • Proven sales and partnership experience with SaaS technology and fintech products and services, particularly those relevant to the insurance industry.
  • Strong relationship management / partner development skills and great at navigating organizations to build relationship and partnerships with c-level and other senior leadership across an organization.
  • Passionate Partners & Alliances champion who can provide world-class program management and thought leadership to increase revenue and drive incremental business opportunities.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships while delivering results in a highly complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Proficiency in contract negotiation and managing partnership agreements.
  • Expertise in developing and coordinating marketing and sales initiatives, both internal and external.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for building and nurturing relationships with technology and fintech partner teams.
  • Ability to convey complex information clearly to different stakeholders, including partners, internal teams, and customers.
  • In-depth understanding of the payments and preferred experience in the insurance industry, including current trends and areas of focus.
  • Experience in creating and delivering presentations that clearly communicate value propositions.
  • Ability to analyze data related to partnership performance, market trends, and customer feedback.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with an ability to speak effectively to business development leaders, executives, product managers, engineers, lawyers, and security professionals
  • Must be able to prioritize and multi-task with special attention to detail and follow-up.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.

 


Education & Experience

  • Minimum of 8+ years’ experience in Sales / Business Development /Partners & Alliances specifically ISVs
  • BA/BS degree, MBA or master’s degree a plus.
