Traits and experiences

As a data artist, you bring good technical skills, a mix of creativity, analytical thinking, and attention to detail. You enjoy uncovering insights hidden in data and solving sophisticated problems. You become comfortable with a range of tools and techniques to approach various types of data-related problems.

Responsibilities

• Support standard reporting, dashboards, and analytics needs
• Explore data for in-depth research and analysis that requires writing code and using APIs as appropriate
• Ensure the quality of data and data models for reporting and downstream products
• Develop and maintain data documentation
• Collaborate across the organization to help teams identify and prepare the right data they need.
• Maintain and control the central data warehouse of the company
• Work closely with company team members to enhance business outcomes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience in data wrangling and statistical modeling
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, R
• A proven understanding of statistics and machine learning techniques
• Preferred, but not required, working with business data (finance, sales, marketing from systems like HubSpot, Salesforce, Gainsight, and NetSuite)
