Data Analyst – PIM / SAP
Based: Remote, within the UK (you must be eligible to work in the UK)
Rate: Up to £400 per day contract or £65k PAYE
Type: Initial 9-month full-time contract
We're setting up a new role to support the improvement and quality of our client’s data in the EMEA Region, as part of a wider PIM migration programme.
The Data Analyst will act as the go-to person to ensure data quality, completeness, and accuracy from several data sources to support new product launches in the region. You will be responsible for creation of data files, data reviews and data analysis.
The role will also be responsible for checking and validating data against source systems (including SAP) and PIM (InRiver), escalate and coordinating with data owners to correct it where required. You’ll work with multiple stakeholders simultaneously and prioritize workload effectively under tight deadlines. You have good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, attention to detail, and good presentation skills.
You will work in a dynamic eCommerce beauty retail environment as part of a global team for a household name, on a platform that serves 300+ sites globally, and alongside highly experienced and talented product owners, scrum masters, QA, designers & developers who analyse, architect, & build solutions based on business needs – a feather in your cap. The role is a new one, with a chance to adapt and make it your own.
Responsibilities
- Validate that mandatory product data across several core systems are fully complete and accurate.
- Clarify and communicate data requests/issues to several stakeholders to ensure data is clean and accurate, in line with launch dates for product launches.
- Create, track and report on the status of product data/product launches.
- Creation of large data comparison files, including being able to provide detailed analysis on differences between source data and PIM.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 5 years working knowledge of data management principles and concepts.
- Knowledge of PIM and ERP data systems; in particular hands on experience with SAP and InRiver is a big advantage
- Ability to leverage multiple tools to create and maintain necessary data stewardship inputs and outputs.
- Good understanding of the data lifecycle.
- A person who is happy working autonomously, using their initiative to solve problems and escalate when they need to
- Excellent Excel Skills
- Good communication skills with both business and technical audiences
- Experience working on ecommerce platforms serving multiple countries and markets
- Experience in Retail Beauty / Cosmetics a big advantage
- A strong attention to detail with an analytical mindset
