Are you passionate about turning data into actionable insights that drive real-world impact? At Avetta, we're seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer who will play a pivotal role in empowering our clients through data-driven decision-making, especially within the dynamic field of supply chain management.

In this role, you'll be the mastermind behind building, enhancing, and maintaining a suite of high-impact dashboards on our cutting-edge Analytics platform. Your strategic vision, coupled with hands-on expertise, will directly influence how our clients interpret and leverage their data, helping them achieve meaningful results.

As part of a fast-growing, innovative team within our R&D organization, you'll enjoy high visibility and the chance to collaborate with diverse, cross-functional teams. Every day, your work will contribute to shaping the future of data analytics in a company that values creativity, collaboration, and continuous growth.

What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with business, product, data science, professional services, and data engineering teams to tackle critical data challenges.
  • Design Impactful Dashboards: Develop and maintain automated, user-friendly, and scalable dashboards that meet our clients' evolving business needs.
  • Unlock Data Insights: Leverage advanced BI tools to extract and present actionable insights from large, complex datasets.
  • Bridge the Gap: Act as the key link between technical and business teams, ensuring seamless communication and driving performance improvements.
  • Drive Business Success: Support ad-hoc business analyses and continuous performance monitoring through data gathering, manipulation, and modeling.

What We're Looking For:

  • Analytic Expertise: 7+ years of experience applying analytic skills to operational and business planning.
  • BI Tool Proficiency: Strong command of BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, Sisense, Looker, or MicroStrategy.
  • Database Mastery: 7+ years of experience with large-scale relational databases (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, SQL Server) and SQL.
  • Data Modeling Savvy: Expertise in data modeling and Excel, with a knack for communicating insights to stakeholders.
  • Results-Driven: A proven track record of delivering actionable insights and data-driven recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Detail-Oriented & Agile: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Independent & Resourceful: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Client-Focused: Experience in R&D or analytics environments, especially with client-facing dashboards or analytics tools.
  • Showcase Your Work: A portfolio of BI dashboard designs or data analysis projects is a plus.

Why Avetta? Avetta is a global leader in supply chain risk management, dedicated to helping companies safely and sustainably manage their operations. By joining our Analytics team, you’ll be part of a thriving environment that champions innovation, teamwork, and the power of data-driven insights. This is your chance to grow with us and make a real difference in the world of supply chain management.
