Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Engineer to join our team and play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining dashboards and reports. These dashboards and reports will empower our organization to making optimally informed-choices based on the data provided. You will head implementations with other team members and work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define their requirements and provide solutions that enhance comprehension of key metrics and trends.

 Responsibilities: 

  • Design, develop, and maintain Business Intelligence dashboards and reports

  • Develop optimized data models through tools and scripts for the dashboards and report to use.

  • Head the development of requirements with team members and stakeholders

  • Act as a subject matter expert on reports and dashboards providing guidance to stakeholders as needed. 

Qualifications
  • In depth knowledge of creating reports and dashboards in Tableau

  • In depth knowledge of creating and querying data models in a database (SQL) backed data warehouse

  • Excellent at diagnosing and finding solutions with sometimes involved business processes. 

  • Strong communication and relationship-building experience, with the propensity for efficient collaboration with stakeholders at all levels of the organization

  • Able to create user documentation that clearly defines how to use the reports and dashboards efficiently

Additional Information

For New York, the expected salary range for this position is between $75k and $110k per year. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.
