Your missions

We are looking for BI Developers to join our team remotely from Hungary/Poland/Slovakia or Romania.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Key contact for regional management of the BI environment covering the technical aspects of BI Solutions
  • Collaborate with operations teams and senior management to gather requirements for dashboard development.
  • Translate complex operational requirements into meaningful data visualizations and dashboards using Power BI.
  • Design, develop, and maintain visually appealing and user-friendly dashboards that effectively communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
  • Perform data analysis and validation to ensure accuracy and reliability of the data presented in the dashboards.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to data models, data sources, and visualization techniques to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of dashboards.
  • Conduct data profiling and cleansing activities to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Work closely with data engineers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of data from various sources into Power BI.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in data visualization, business intelligence, and Power BI functionality.
  • Provide training and support to end-users


Your Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s preferred) in Computer Science, Engineering or related field; however, experience may be considered in lieu of education
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, follow up, problem resolution and facilitation skills while working with various levels of the organization
  • Strong analytic skills for working with datasets to transform data and approach these problems in a creative manner
  • Manage all data for transactional sources and understanding of how to develop effective solutions
  • Supervise and ensure efficient working of employees within the team
  • Knowledge of various database platforms, data lakes/warehousing techniques, optimization with ‘big data’ storage, data modelling, BI system administration, scripting and app development
  • Reverse engineering techniques of existing applications into BI tool
  • Initiative — Job requires a willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges

  • Persistence — Job requires persistence in the face of obstacles.


Experiences:

  • Proven experiences in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience as a BI Developer, preferably with a focus on Power BI, in a fast-paced and data-driven environment.
  • Strong understanding of business operations and the ability to translate operational requirements into meaningful dashboards.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, including expertise in data modelling, DAX calculations, and building visually appealing reports and dashboards.
  • Solid understanding of data analysis techniques, data visualization principles, and best practices.
  • Experience with SQL, data warehousing, and data integration is highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive insights from complex datasets.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Prior experience in the regional or global business intelligence team is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of other BI tools and technologies (such as Tableau, QlikView, or Microsoft BI stack) is a plus.
