Your missions

This is a remote position.

Spektra Systems is seeking software developers who possess a passion for solving problems and for emerging technologies. This is a technical role responsible for the implementation, testing, and delivering optimized T-SQL Database Queries and creating insightful Power BI Reports and dashboards. You’ll have an opportunity to work on the latest and greatest technologies such as Cloud, and many more. As a Developer, you are expected to work independently on application development with high level guidance/instructions from the lead architect. You will be part of Spektra's flagship products engineering team.

Responsibilities:

Understand fundamentals of data preparation/data modelling necessary for the visualization purpose.
Capture reporting requirements from various stakeholders, architect the solution/report, understand/analyze the source data and deliver the reports in a timely manner.
Create Data Sets and Data models to build intelligence upon.
Strong expertise in designing intuitive and interactive reports/dashboards using Power BI for data-driven decisions.
Develop and own various integration tools and data points.
Extract, Transform and Load data from multiple systems for reporting into BI platform.
Work closely with the Project manager to deliver on business requirements OTIF (on time in full)
Understand the cross-functional business data points thoroughly and be SPOC for all data-related queries.
Performance Monitoring, fine-tuning and optimization of reports/dashboards.

Requirements

Strong experience in Data warehouse modelling techniques and SQL queries.
A good understanding of designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining Power BI report solutions.
Ability to create KPIs, visualizations, reports, and dashboards based on business requirement.
Knowledge and experience in prototyping, designing, and requirement analysis.
Be able to implement row-level security on data and understand application security layer models in Power BI
Proficiency in making DAX queries in Power BI desktop.
Expertise in using advanced level calculations on data sets.

Technical Skills

Strong knowledge in Power BI (DAX + Power Query + Power BI Service + Power BI Desktop Visualizations)
Strong knowledge in SQL DB & SQL DW.
Strong Knowledge in developing SQL Queries.
Good knowledge of DWH concepts.
Implementing Access Control and impose required Security.
