Compensation: Hourly (paid in equity compensation equivalent to CAD $32-35/hour

About the job:

We are currently seeking an emerging Human Resources professional for a challenging experience based Internship to contribute to an innovative and groundbreaking project in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Are you passionate about AI and looking to make your mark in the industry? Come join our dynamic team as we push the boundaries and create a game changer in the world of AI. You will have the unique opportunity to participate in a fully immersive internship where you will be helping shape human resources processes and procedures. This is designed largely as a remote placement however can also be a hybrid internship (Chicago or Toronto). In this engagement/applied learning internship you'll gain unparalleled experience in a high-growth, dynamic environment, directly interfacing with senior management and largely different from any other internship. It will be a demanding internship and will require you to bring the best version of yourself to the table, but for those who embrace this, it will be a richly rewarding experience as well as a great compliment to your academic investment.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist in project management efforts, including planning, execution, and monitoring of projects.
• Mature and scale the Human Resources team in a fast-paced and rapidly growing company
• Drive efficiencies, automating processes, screening systems, shaping culture, and streamlining onboarding by refining team processes
• Provide vision, direction, and guidance to ensure project success and team cohesion.
• Coordinate closely with the Operations team to identify opportunities for process improvement and improve collaboration with cross-functional teams to implement best practices.
• Contribute to the development and execution of staffing plans in support of our aggressive growth objectives.

About You:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master level university program in specific to Human Resources like a Master of Science in Human Resource Management (MSHRM) or recently or MBA with a focus on operations
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and strong accountability to effectively engage in your work and contribute in a team environment ultimately driving success within Human Resource efforts.
• Analytical mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and implementing best practices.
• Proficient communication in English (both verbal and written) is required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Hiring Process:

5. Orientation Session: Successful candidates will be invited to participate in an orientation session where they will learn more about Vosyn, our projects, and what to expect during the internship. After this session, you will be given the opportunity to opt-in if you choose that this internship is for you.
